A Merry Marlin Fishing Report!

Have missed the good ole days wherever the fishing reports rolled out around right here…. The family just gave me a new camera as I am going to soon be finding a calendar year older and so right now was the consider outs! Also we had a single of Patrick’s soccer buddies with us and it was a enjoyment seeing how enthusiastic he was catching some new species.
The boys this spring and summer time have labored the boat challenging, not fairly adapted for industrial fishing but they did alright putting aside some cash for higher education.
These days the target was gags, we left at sunrise to locate some pogies.

They were scattered and tough to catch. We essential them badly as we still left with a single small bag of frozen ones so items points ended up tense! Practically nothing worse than catching bait to get some foul language likely! Finally a couple very good pictures and we could loosen up!!!!

We headed South, began shallow but only found shorts and untrragetted species… Pedro acquired his right of passage on the MM with his initial AJ and Almaco…

A whole lot a lot less unpleasant bringing a King….

We by some means hung up the anchor 3 occasions and by 12H30 we only had two keeper gags…. Anchor was by some means bent but we took the chance of heading deeper as practically nothing was taking place.

The up coming end, issues turned around and the video game was on.

It didn’t consider long to finish this minor popsical of pogies…. The gags were hungry!

Pedro once again extra a new specie to his list!

The boys were back to smiling. Not joyful to take a photograph as even though it’s occurring you far better retain on producing!!!

Only had to do a couple more spots to finish our bait and the fish came on board nicely…

It was time to head house in some seas the weatherman had not predicted but I did get to take my bean bag nap!
Jacky received one of my favourite reels for his birthday. Caught all my very first offshore fish on that aged classic and by no means acquired a failure. I’ve not been impressed to see the quick daily life of some of the costly reels they’ve had… Would like to see how this 1 holds out!

It was very good to be back in the sound. Wonderful possessing Pedro who figured issues out fairly speedily. He has the bass, cats, bowfin and crappie dialed in on Jordan Lake I hope he’ll have the saltwater factor heading now….

Exciting to post one thing again on SFC….
