Private Report – 02/27/2011:
Myself and Michael Johnson from the shop left wappoo close to six:30am headed to one of the lowcountry’s nearshore reefs. Fog had a whole lot of boats performing circles in the harbor early on, but a great constant speed and very good electronics had us on the reef in no time. Fished for nearly 3 several hours and could barely get past all the black sea bass to get to a sheepshead. All in all we had a decent day, possibly caught 90-a hundred sea bass(anyplace from eight-17 inches,naturally all throwbacks with the closure) and 11 good sheepshead all in between four and eight.five lbs. Congratulations to Michael for catching his very best sheepshead to date, 1 fo the handful of gamefish in the lowcountry that that young guy had not caught much of until recently. Hoping to get 1 more trip in ahead of I hit the woods tough for turkey period 2011!
