The Nature Conservancy and Rayonier has announced the sale of 3,088 acres along the Clearwater River in Jefferson County around the Washington coast.

The Conservancy is purchasing a corridor along the river about 11 miles prolonged and about a mile vast, with the objective of bringing salmon again to historical amounts of abundance. The complete buy cost was USD six.98 million.
