Posted on October 2, 2011

Right here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

It was largely sunny and a lot cooler right now. The winds were from the west at 10-fifteen mph and the temperatures were close to 70 F. Today the swell from tropical storm Ophelia arrived ashore, so it was a minor rough. We had scattered bluefish at Cape Point and the Frisco beach. We also had a buyer catch a forty&#8243 red drum on the Frisco seashore utilizing a flounder rig. No boats fished these days both. Despite the fact that the fishing inshore has been exceptional. Plenty of speckled trout and puppy drum. Offshore the wahoo fishing has been outstanding and the yellowfin tuna fishing must truly start off choosing up with the cooler temperatures.
