Offshore Venice La

I fished a few days correct just before ts Lee hit. The initial day I stayed on the shelf and fished twelve-15 miles offshore. Tuna were pretty prevalent out there but it was difficult to get stay baits past the bonitos to them. They cleared out for a small whilst and we ended up capable to nab a few yf from 30-60 lbs. We used to throw poppers with no luck all they wished was stay bait. Soon after the bite ended with three yf and a pair of jumbo blackfin we headed nearer to shore to attempt for ajs. Only had two very good aj baits and we went one-2 on ajs prior to the snapper started out consuming up our tiny tuna baits and we headed to the house.

On the very last day they didnt really want tuna but we created a small school hard work consider and hit some locations that had been more than by my good bottom spots. There had been no tuna house as they have been in dirty water that day. so we picked up and went bottom bouncing. Obtained our limits of ajs true fast and then began dropping for scamps. They have been being cooperative on stay bait and jigs and the guys received their two man restrict of scamps in about an hour with a number of missed types.

Subsequent up was mangrove fishing and that didnt go so properly. Only got 3 mangroves prior to we headed to the house.
