OI update with photos….

Took a skiff trip with Seth down by means of the lower, the old inlet,and the new inlet just north of the correct OI inlet. What a transform !! It is a change for the much better. The crack is just great we measured 7-10ft the entire way from the 1st turn to the fishing middle from Wanchese and from the fishing middle to the main channel ahead of the bridge. The spit on the north east aspect of the bridge is gone. In truth the land to the north and east of the bridge has been pushed back north almost seventy five yds. The inlet such as below the bridge is at minimum fifteen-26 ft as far as just before the bar. We did not venture all the way out to the bar in the skiff. You can operate fairly considerably a straight shot from the bridge out to the bar now.

These are pictures of the new inlet north of the primary OI inlet. We went beneath the bridge north of the span and went all the way to the new bar in front of the new inlet. we did not venture all the way to the bar but you could get out into the ocean trough the new inlet. (For now anyway!) I guess it will fill in at the mouth above time. The water depth was five-6 ft all the way out….
