My friend and extremely accomplished angler Tim Gallimore fished in sight of the OIFC and prevailed using his "Channelside" rig. Tim is maintaining this top solution weapon really close to the vest, but is inclined to share it with the Bonecrusher under selected situations. Negotiations need to be channeled through this reporter.
Back to the catch…On this journey Tim caught and introduced a a 22" and a 26.5" red drum and a 7 lb black drum using stay shrimp and pogies on a Channelside rig.

"Drum Roll" | Tiberias – 22′ | 08/03/eleven
Reno, Naylor, Ian, and Joey joined me for a fifty percent day of fishing this afternoon. It started out off pretty slow. We began off concentrating on flounder and only landed two brief fish. The wind was creating things a bit tough and had the water stirred up. I made the decision to adjust gears and see if we could get a few red drum to bite. The tide was lower sufficient to catch a number of shrimp. We loaded the livewell with lots of shrimp in just a number of forged. Headed to our first dock and only made pinfish. Second quit also made pinfish and a single nice croaker. Our third end and what was going to be our very last desire for the day started generating. I really should say, Joey started catching the fish. Joey hooked 5 of the 7 redfish we caught nowadays. Everytime he touched a rod a fish would strike. Unbelievable! He was wonderful enough to pass the rod to Ian two times. Ian had one particular hook up, but it swiftly broke the line. Eventually, Reno and Naylor each hooked up and landed a wonderful fish. We ended up likely to finish the day soon after landing Reno’s redfish. Nonetheless, I consider to leave a line in the water at all instances. As we have been pulling in the very last line and packing up, some thing drilled the bait. The finest fight of the day, but it was only a sting ray. Great career men! I liked it! Desire to see you yet again subsequent calendar year. See ya on the water!

In reporting this action I failed to mention the considerably new but fascinating Cape Concern Sailfish Classic. Click on the website link for all the information.!
