OIFC fishing report 7-29

The Kiss of Dying&quot | Tiberias – 22′ | 07/28/11

Randy Beane and son Brett joined me on a 50 percent day inshore trip nowadays. We pulled out of the OIFC canal at 7am this morning. First issue on the agenda was stock up on new bait. We found minor peanut pogies and a couple of mullet minnows. I received us anchored up on our very first spot and made the first cast. As I was displaying and detailing the method to experience the bite of a flounder one particular drilled it. I arranged the hook and handed the rod to Brett. Brett landed a good 17&quot fish and supper was by now seeking good. Unfortunely, catching a fish on the very first forged seemed to be the kiss of demise for that spot. We caught a handful of much more little flounder and a couple of small red drum in different locations. The bite by no means truly took off like it appeared it was heading to on the initial cast. The week has been challenging with rain, wind, and dirty water. We have still managed to locate a couple of fish ready to bite a hook. Capt. Jeff Williamson found a wonderful a single late in the day. As he set it…Bottom of the 9th with two outs, but he hit one out of the park. Capt. Jeff ought to be sharing pictures with us soon. Give us a call if you want to have exciting and catch a couple of fish. See ya on the water!
