Some offshore boats scored properly on equally dolphin and yellowfin tuna with some catching mosly dolphin and others mostly tuna.Two bigeye tunas have been caught one weighed 120 kilos the other 210 lbs.The 210 pounder was caught by Allison Fickling from Ridgeland, SC. It took one hour and 5 minutes to deliver aboard. It took a lot of energy to get it out of the fish box.The angler Allison, the mate and a fellow mate all pitched in. In the second photo is a family members named Lugar. Erica and Cris are from Florida, Kase, Rex and Tilly are from Virginia. Inshore boats caught bluefish trolling an all day journey integrated bottom fishing where they had a good catch of triggerfish and trolling wherever they caught bluefish and spanish mackerel.Open up boats had quite very good Atlantic sharp nose shark catch and release fishing. One open boat caught speckled trout. Skip Oregon Inlet caught croakers.

Another great day to be fishing out of Oregon Inlet! Our headboat had catches of croakers today. Inshore there were some catches of Speckled Trout and blue fish. All day nearshore trips arrived in with wonderful catches of set off fish, amberjacks, sea bass and spanish mackerel. There was a red drum reported, but did not drop in to the keeper slot, also massive. The 50 % day nearshore charters had great catches of blues and spanish mackerel. Offshore we had great catches of yellowfin tuna and dolphin.

The Gulf Stream created great yellowfin tuna catches. Dolphin were less accessable but plentiful where they were. Wahoo were scattered as have been marlin. In the initial image is Allison Praktish from Charleston, South Carolina holding the 177 pound large eye tuna he caught. In the second picture is Mate Gene Buckley and household Gene Sr., Judy, and Colin from Cranberry, New Jersey. In the third picture are Buzys Pete, Kyle, Owen and Jake from Brookville, Maryland with Reimers Danny and Kevin from New Jersey. Inshore trollers caught a lot of tailor bluefish. One boat also caught some untrue albacores. An all Day inshore bottom fishing trip caught triggerfish, a couple of spanish mackerel and sea bass. At the exact same time they caught and released sharks. Open boats– one had some good speckled trout. One particular allday journey caught blues, cobia and false albacores. They caught and released some sharks. Skip Oregon Inlet had fair croaker fishing with few flounders in the early morning good croaker fishing and a couple of flounders in the afternoon.
