7-27-11 Outer Banking institutions Fishing Report
The weather conditions was good and sunny nowadays. Much more south-west winds at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid eighty&#8242s. The cape at Buxton had an additional excellent day of bluefish and a couple of spanish mackerel on steel. A few sea mullet and spot were combined in also. The Frisco beach was a small gradual. The water is a small dirty still. Only a number of sea mullet and bluefish. Down at Hatteras Inlet the blues ended up biting excellent on lower bait and metal. Inshore the spanish mackerel and bluefish bite was great. First rate speckled trout fishing in the sound. Offshore limits of dolphin caught, real very good wahoo and a number of blackfin tuna. Great sail fishing, about eight sails have been introduced.
