Coast Guard suspends search for man in Bull Bay, NC

WILMINGTON, N.C. &ampmdash The Coast Guard has suspended its research for a twenty five-calendar year-old guy who was last witnessed in the waters of Bull Bay, N.C., Saturday afternoon.

Coast Guard Sector North Carolina had acquired a report from Tyrrell County Dispatch personnel.

It was noted that the guy jumped into the h2o from a vessel with a swim float, lost the swim float and was witnessed struggling to swim. The remaining boaters lost sight as he went underneath and had been not able to relocate him.

A boat crew from Coast Guard Station Elizabeth Town and an MH-sixty Jayhawk helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth Metropolis had been dispatched to help with the research.

Also on scene had been North Carolina Wildlife and North Carolina Marine Patrol.

Coast Guard and nearby agencies searched about 190 miles over a 9-hour period.
