Cheapshot Mako Mania

Tough weekend for sharking, no wind, minimum drift, and warm water. We did what we had to do and ended up taking fifth area in Mako Mania weighing in at 176 pounds.

Saturday was incredibly sluggish only hooking up with 1 fish, which turned out to be the 176 mako.

Sunday we produced the significantly operate to get to the cooler drinking water. Ended up with a big tiger, dusky, and a blue. On the way in acquired the phone from Dave and the crew on the Insufishent Funds that ended up on a great tuna bite. Moved into their place and place 7 bluefin tuna in the boat in twenty five minutes, released all but 1 @ 46 inches. Fortunately we had our JPR rods on board that dealt with the tuna beautifully.
