Coast Guard suspends search for missing teen in Rappahannock River

WARSAW, Va. &ampndash The Coast Guard has suspended its lookup at six:53 p.m. Saturday for a missing 14-year-aged Boy Scout who fell into the river from a sandbar in the vicinity of Suggetts Point, Va.

Crews from the Coast Guard, Coast Guard Auxiliary and regional reaction agencies searched around 17 miles for a lot more than six several hours.

Concerned in the research had been personnel from Coast Guard Station Milford Haven, Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City, Coast Guard Auxiliary, U.S. Fish and Video game, Virginia Marine Resources Commission, Richmond County Hearth Rescue, Richmond County Sheriff Division, Virginia Department of Sport and Inland Fisheries and the Mattaponi Volunteer Dive Staff.

Richmond County Emergency Providers and Virginia State dive crew will continue operation Sunday early morning.
