04-19-eleven blackfin catch
Father and son fishing crew JJ and Nick were hoping to consider home some meat so we headed south to the 230 line wherever scattered yellowfin and some blackfin tuna have been keeping. We did not have really significantly luck til midday, but once the action started it was superb. Ended up with 19 blackfin, three ended up citations twenty, 21, 26 kilos….and numerous mahi as well. Other boats in the location also caught some yellowfin. Very good sign of factors to come. Up toward the level, some boats caught and released bluefin. Thank you for checking in.

4-17-11 Bluefin
Departed later than common to make confident the seas had settled down after Saturdays storms. Part of our crew Gary and Brian Newman drove twelve several hours and this was the only day they could fish. We had been heading down to the 230 this morning but heard reports of mostly albacore down there so we set out on the 280. Circled numerous times with no bites and labored north along the change. Drinking water was in place but minor bait and no yellowfin bites. Caught a modest dolphin all around the 400 line and lost a wahoo. Kept doing work up to the 530 wherever the weedline had come jointly nicely but nonetheless no bites. About the 570 even now had the 50’s out and acquired creamed by big bluefin. Ended up with absolutely nothing. Switched about to 80’s and kept hunting. Big Al on the Region Lady hooked a triple, Benji on the Seanote hooked four, and then we obtained the mark and hooked 4 with a lot far better outcomes this time. All fish were 200 lbs or greater and have been introduced. Examine out the connected video clip clip.
