550 mile sea trial and fishing trip

Its been about two years considering that i started out constructing my individual custom made fishing boat.
Very last week was the first time we have been ready to use it and guy were we stoked.

We left ft laud about 530 in the early morning headed toward Lucuya to examine in.
We obtained a minor more than fifty percent way more than and discovered ourselves in a great flock or birds just before the sun even acquired up. We caught two wonderful yellow fins and a blackfin and held likely keen to get our fishing permit and immigration papers.

Soon after clearing customs we headed to our 1st evening vacation spot &quotSandy Stage&quot.

We pulled up to Sandy stage about 630 PM located a good shallow area to anchor for the night time, Shut the Zinn Puppy down and sat in the cockpit and drank some beers. I was with some of the guys that aided build the boat and couple of my closest fishing buddys. I was so floored by the total encounter I just stored pinching myself to make certain it was real. this was not a unfamiliar journey for me, I have been working boats by way of the Bahamas most of my lifestyle and have had a home in the Abacos considering that my childhood. This time was diverse. This time I was jogging my personal boat. A boat that was just an concept in my head for more than 10 decades that I was now sitting in possessing a beer even though in a single of the nicest places in the earth.

The next day I acquired up at dawn and pinched myself yet again as we began up and headed to our home in Treasure Cay. Though the Zinn Dogg was on its very first fishing excursion my confidence was large I knew every single part and piece that was put into this boat and a lot more importantly why it was there. We lifted only 1 marlin and did not get a hook in him but next time we fish out there Marlin fishing will take priority as the Zinn Puppy Will be broken in.
