341 lbs Yellow Fin Tuna

341 pound yellowfin tuna. Fishing at El Banco out of PV Mexico. The Captain Juan Pablo jumped in the water because the tuna made a sudden direction change during a run late in the fight. We were slowly following the fish with the boat to regain line (much like following a big marlin) because 50 minutes into the fight the fish began to run again and took 400 yards of line. During the process of giving chase the tuna made a quick turn and although Kyle almost immediately realized the turn (pointing and reeling like crazy in the video), there was nothing Bob could do with the boat to avoid the line getting underneath us.

May 2010, Fishing for Cobia of the coast of Destin FL in the Cobia Tournament. This video is of me catching a 30lb Cobia (not the biggest that day by far), the deck hand slipped with the gaff and the battle lasted a big longer. Didn’t think I would need a belt but after he ran the rod was killing my abs.
