The 9th ANNUAL BTB MAKO RODEO was held in Brielle, NJ on June 18th and 19th and for the ninth consecutive yr, the Brett T. The fishing was exceptional when once again as a number of bug fish have been introduced to the scales. Three threshers were weighed and the Thresher Calcutta totaling $ 7,800 was taken residence by George Palczak and his crew on the ‘Blue Devil.’ They weighed a 334 Thresher to win initial all round in this class. There had been eight makos introduced to the scales with the most significant caught by tournament winner Dave Schunke and his staff on the ‘Insufficient Money II.’ They weighted a monster 385lb Mako that missed the tournament record by only eighteen lbs.
