Hoo Dat!

Left OC at 5:30 headed for the Rockpile searching for whitey. Stopped short at the 30 fathom line and place a few baits out on a big weed patch. Picked one swift mahi and back again on our way. Passed a lovely rip and weed line at 35 fathoms but made a decision to proceed on our plan to be a part of the fleet at the RP. When we arrived, there have been a couple of fish getting caught, but gradual all round. Some of the &quotbig boys&quot were selecting up and operating south. We decided to head back again to the rip we handed coming out.

We picked up some small gaffers on a massive weed patch, then determined to bail a number of. Stop following about a dozen respectable measurement dolphin and back on the troll. I made a decision to set out one wire bait with a blue and black witch/pick hoo on the shotgun back again. Had a great wahoo that failed to examine the guidelines hit the left prolonged with mono. Had him stripping line off a fifty for about thirty 2nd just before leaving with my islander. A tiny afterwards his brother hit the proper bait. Richard made fast function of him. We had to slice the Hoo’s head off to get him in the fish box, so not sure of the bodyweight, but Richard is 6 ft. tall and the fish was nearly that lengthy. We guessed about 65lbs.

Never ever saw a white? Heard there had been some YFTs caught among the Hotdog and Sausages. Was good to experience house from forty five miles out as opposed to 65 as has been most of this seaeson. Sounded like the greatest marlin bite was down in the Norfolk.
