The following is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Financial institutions Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:
Overcast and windy all day. The winds had been from the north-east at 20-thirty mph and the temperatures have been in the upper fifty′s all day. There have been a couple of fish caught in the Hook just south of Cape Point. A couple of bluefish. That about it for fishing nowadays. Effectively the 54th Annual Cape Hatteras Anglers Club Surf Fishing Tournament started out off gradual and practically ended the very same way. Throughout the previous session of tournament yesterday, the team Roanoke Surf Fishing Club ended up fishing in the Hook and had zero points, but one bluefish gave them 2 stage and then Gary Creasy of Hardy VA hooked into a good fish. Gary fought it down the beach in the tough surf about 200 yds and lastly beached the 46 inch Red Drum to win the 54th Yearly Cape Hatteras Anglers Club Surf Fishing Tournament with ninety somme points. Wonderful task guys. In 2nd spot SCABS/Surf Casters and Bull Shooters had 64 points and in 3rd South Jersey Surf Casters with 63 points. The 1st location womens crew had been the Show Stoppers with sixteen points. Fantastic task to all the anglers and thank you for purchasing with us.

Effectively it is has been a moist and windy day. The winds were from the north-east at ten-15 mph and picking up around noon to twenty-thirty mph. The temperatures ended up in the reduced 60′s. It was rough all day on both sides, north and south beaches. The only fish claimed were in the hook by Cape Position and down near Hatteras Inlet. There had been bluefish and 1 staff caught a 46 inch red drum in the hook this afternoon. Im sure that was the profitable catch of the 54th Annual Cape Hatteras Anglers Club Surf Fishing Tournament. I will submit the winners afterwards tonight when the outcomes are in. Tomorrow is the Bob Bernard individual tournament. No boats fished nowadays because of to the undesirable temperatures.

Todays temperatures has enhanced a small. It has been primarily sunny and the winds have dropped a little bit. The winds had been from the north-east at 15 mph and the temperatures are in the reduced 60′s. The relaxation of the week is likely to warm up to the mid sixty′s and the north-east winds are supposed to drop to five-15 mph the relaxation of the week. We had a pretty excellent morning bite at Cape Stage of bluefish and a few pup drum and about 6 drum above forty inches caught there also. The Frisco seashore had some bluefish and we weighed in a 27″ puppy drum from ramp 49. The Hatteras shorelines had excellent bluefish bites and also some modest speckled trout. No boats fishing inshore or offshore nowadays
