White Marlin GoPro Video- Oregon Inlet

Have not posted in awhile but my buddy just completed this video clip from our journey final Saturday out of Oregon Inlet. Rather good fishing to the NE for a whole lot of boats that went up there and a calm day on the h2o.

We ended up viewing 9, hooking eight, and catching six on the initial journey with the new GoPro camera. Mainly single bites but we did catch all 3 of a triple in the early morning.

That’s Right No Money Fish in the WMO Back to Charter Fishing

Tournaments can be anything that could go mistaken does and the 2011 White Marlin Open up was not straightforward on us. Had a boat concern that induced us to miss a day of fishing. We did make it out for the final two days of the Tournament, Had 2 excellent days of fishing just nothing at all to make it to the scales.

Capt. John Reports:
Rough week for the Thats Right had some boat concerns on Tuesday and had to waste our 2nd lay day, as factors turned out we ended up only able to fish two days. We had a excellent time caught some Marlins and a few Yellowfins.
Back to charter fishing about the weekend and appreciated some ideal days on the water, slight chop and a pretty great bite through out the day five Yellowfins and a couple White marlins. Theres been some new fish showing up Wahoos and some Dolphins. I wish that points carry on to select up as this has been a wonderful summer for fishing currently, sure a few lower spots but overall pretty darn good. Back again at it in the am. We have been carrying out well catching fish for our charters as soon as yet again.

Is this a Longbilled Spearfish???

Hey Guys,

Just obtained back again from fishing the Massive Recreation Battle out of Nantucket and this canyon trip was nothing at all quick of EPIC- twenty five Yellowfin (forty-60lbs.), 70lb Wahoo, 200+lb Massive Eye, Pulled Crimp on a 400+ Blue Marlin, Pulled hook on 125lb Sword just out of POON array, 2 White Marlin and perhaps one Longbilled Spearfish. Just take a seem at these pics and inform me if you feel this may be a Spearfish, the invoice on this guy was really small as nicely.

Pelican Sportfishing report Nags Head 8-15

A Massive congratulations to all the females that fished to help the Alice Kelly Memorial Billfish Tournament yesterday. We fished to help the Outer Banking institutions Cancer Assistance Group and appreciate all they contribute to fighting cancer on the Outer Banks! This is a tournament I dont pass up and a platform for me to be in a position to compete with any other female who would like to hook their personal billfish. Out of 61 boats who entered, two of us had been on this mission. Kelly Francis hooked and launched her White Marlin at 9:38am, I hooked mine at 2:12pm! Kelly took 1st spot Best Girl Angler on the Boneshaker and I won 2nd spot based mostly on time! Tons of fun and excitement for every person.

I fished on the Pelican with 4 pretty girls, Esther Vaughn Gina Cecil and her two daughters Logan11 yrs. previous and Taylor 15 yrs. outdated. This was a initial for Logan and Taylor and what tough gals they are! The weather conditions turned a bit tough in direction of the afternoon, but they hung in like real troopers and I was honored to have all them fishing by my aspect and for the Pelican. Gorgeous Day and a White Marlin bite

Mild NE wind and relaxed seas. The circumstances wherever excellent for a nice journey out to the Marlin fishing region. The Pelican and a number of other boats from the fleet made the journey and wherever rewarded with a very good day. Arch found six Whites and caught 4 of them. They also place a thirty pound gaffer (dolphin) in the box. The forecast looks excellent as we get tuned up for the Alice Kelly and Pirates Cove tournament following week.

There have been a number of king mackerel on the eastside of the Cape Lookout shoals all around the Atlas Tanker and 30 Moment Rock.
