Big Blue

I fished the Manasquan River Marlin and Tuna Club Offshore Open up with Matt Malkiewicz and Andy Ramnanan this weekend. In quite sloppy seas we ran offshore of the Hendrickson Canyon in purchase to uncover very good water, but the energy compensated off. I found the temperature break and clear h2o and started out trolling and we hooked up with this blue on a rigged ballyhoo. An hour and a half later we had the release, but unfortunately we did not spot in the tournament. another boat had hooked up ahead of us. We picked up a couple of mahi during the day, but the building seas and impending forecast convinced us to reduce the trip quick and head for the barn. Yet again quite sloppy seas on the trip back, we left the Hudson Canyon at four PM and didn’t get again to the dock till ten:fifteen PM.
